Community guidelines
Black American Network is a place to do honest business and to inform, educate and uplift. Disagree with ideas, never attack people.
Do
- List your real business and keep it up to date.
- Post opportunities you actually intend to fill, with real deadlines.
- Answer people who respond to you, even with a no.
- Share videos you made or have the right to share.
Don't
- Spam, mass messages, pyramid schemes, or "opportunities" that ask people to pay you first.
- Hate, harassment, threats or bullying of any person or group.
- Fake businesses, fake certifications or impersonation.
- Sharing someone's contact details or private messages without their consent.
- Sexual content, or anything involving the exploitation of minors.
Verification
Badges show how much we know about a business: New, Confirmed (website or listing checked), Vouched (two Verified members vouched) and Verified (a moderator checked state registration or a certification letter). A badge is not an endorsement; do your own diligence before you sign or pay.
What happens when something breaks the rules
Anyone signed in can report a business, opportunity, message, video or comment, and can block another member. Chapter moderators review reports first. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these guidelines.
